Each hydraulic system is characterized by a fluid circulating between the various components (pumps, valves and actuators) that transmits and controls energy from one place to another. High power densities require the fluid to convey not only energy, but lubricating, heat transfer and be compatible with various materials. Since the universal or ideal hydraulic fluid does not exist, your selection for a given application is often the result of a compromise.
We perform compatibility test of the most common compounds with various fluids in accordance with DIN 53521. All results are collected in a huge database with over 9,000 fluids available to our customers.
We can even test fluids provided directly by the customer.
