Aston Seals to become a Michelin Group Company: A Strategic Move to Strengthen Its European Presence in Sealing Solutions
On 03 July 2025, Michelin, through its Polymer Composite Solutions division, signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Aston Seals, a leading manufacturer of sealing solutions based in Carpi (MO), Italy.
The transaction, subject to customary regulatory approvals, is expected to be completed in the coming months. Once finalised, Aston Seals will be integrated into Michelin’s Advanced Sealing Technology (AST) business unit, under the operational oversight of Hallite Seals International, already part of the group.
Founded in 1999, Aston Seals has earned global recognition for the high quality of its products and services, exporting to over 80 countries and serving industries such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and custom machining.
“We are very pleased to welcome Aston Seals to our group,” said Tony Pace, Managing Director of Hallite Europe. “Combining our teams and expertise will bring added value to our customers and partners, creating synergies on a global scale.”
Joining AST marks a new phase of growth for Aston Seals, offering the opportunity to further expand its innovation and production capabilities with the support of a strong, international industrial group.
“We are excited to begin this new chapter for our company. This decision aligns perfectly with our strategic vision and represents a great opportunity for our employees, customers, and the local community,” said Mr. Lugli and Mr. Serri, owners of Aston Seals. “We are proud to join a group that values industrial excellence and long-term vision.”
